Hello all ! &
Sorry everyone for not posting these past few days as I was tired of the camp and now I have one less thing to worry about ^^
Friday! Went to jurongville secondary for the leadership development camp... I wasn't a participant.. Just a member of the organising committee... Reached about 1430 and went to buy the final food items for the camp with my officer.. It wasn't long till it reached 1800 as the participants began to come in... As the boys were preparing to fall in, i went out with a senior of jurongville BB coy to collect the food items for supper.. Bought biscuits and a ladle because the logistics did not have it so I bought it to save all the scoldings and troubles.. =) And you know what? The senior actually insisted on him to pay the ladle although it was just $1.50 and he even insisted to carry the big tin of biscuits... So caring and touching ! aww ! lols.. =DBasically did nothing until supper time as I was the food IC of the camp... Super tiring... lols.. Had to prepare drinks and food for all the participants... There were pretty much leftover though... It was all lecture and I went to bathe at around 0000 before getting to sleep... Went in the bunk and i still see many boys still not sleeping when the lights out time is supposed to be 0000... They talked and talked and talked until i cannot tahan and I go and sleep first... =) It was about 0230 when my sec 1s began to wake up me... It was a fire drill... lols.. lame... Woke up with half eye closed and went to the ground level... As it turned out, the drill was conducted as many boys were still not sleeping and the officers called all of them and ordered them to change to half u, full u then to half u again... And did some games in the middle of the night ! See la! My officer asked me to go to bed first but I was alone u see... I'll be the only one in the whole room.. lols... Not scare la.. Just u know.. =) So I went to the officers bunk and kill time while waiting the campers to finish their games.. =) After 10 mins or so... i went down and basically i was alone ! Went down and all the gates are closed.. So scared! So went up alone again in the middle of the night and return to bunk and sleep... By the time, it was already 0430 and i had to wake up at 0600... shit !Woke up at 0615 and went to wash up immediately because i need to collect breakfast for everybody ! The canteen can be so called my playground where i am in charge of all the things.. It was games and lunch not long after and followed was lectures and more lectures... Was pretty tired during the lectures and fell asleep and my officer asked me to go the bunk and sleep as i had nothing to do... So I went ! Woke up an hour later to collect dinner for everyone... -.- After dinner was preparation for the night hike ! My team of hikers ( campers ) set off at 2245 and we need to go though checkpoints and finally reach Lim Chu Kang... YES ! It is the cemetery ! Spent about 4 hours walking to there and was caught by police along the way too ! haha.. A police car stopped by and asked my team on where we going... They finally let us go after taking our particulars down as it was for our own safety.. Thank you Sir ! lols..Reached the cemetery area at 0400+ and It was pretty scary though... And we met the other team and entered the Chinese cemetery together... We had to lead our ways though the exit in the cemetery as there is only an exit ! Wasn't really that scary as it was a big group and I was amazed by the stars at the sky ! Beautiful ! Finally found the exit and we were all tired of all the walking... We reached the christian cemetery and the poor participants had to go around the cemetery alone with only the guide of light sticks along the way! Yes ! I wanted to try but it was only for participants u see... aww.. so sad.. While the campers were walking, i take this time to sleep while sitting on the road.. Super tired la... It was until 0600 when the bus came and took us back to school.. I still need to collect breakfast for everyone after that ! Arrgh.. But my officer was kind though.. Allowed me to sleep till 0900 as he cleared the miscellaneous things in the canteen.. A big thank you to you ! =DD After that it was promotion ceremony and dismissal for everyone of us and I was too tired to go to church as planned with my officers... Went home and sleep straight from 1300 to 2000... Was still pretty tired when i woke up ! =DD hahahah...
